ERO reviews schools and early childhood education services, and publishes national reports on current education practice.

The ERO report highlighted several areas of strength:

  • Students are motivated to learn through a curriculum that has been thoughtfully designed by the school community to meet the needs and interests of all students.

  • Students are able to talk competently about what they have learnt and justify their statements with examples.

  • The positive relationships students enjoy with other students and with their teachers contribute to their learning and achievement.

  • Teachers competently use achievement information to meet the learning needs of students.

  • Students learn through a cohesive and progressive curriculum that is underpinned by strong values and a clear vision.

  • The board of trustees, together with the principal and school leaders, continues to be highly effective in using self-review procedures to further promote students learning – engagement, progress and achievement.

  • “The positive impact of skilled leadership from trustees and senior staff is very evident”

The Education Review Office congratulates the school

on the findings of the ERO report

“that reflects sustained high quality teaching and learning in the school”
