On Thursday the 16th of June Macleans Primary School's netball team played against Cockle Bay School. The weather was sunny but the wind was a little cool. Before the game began the Macleans team warmed up by exercising loosely. The players were excited but their expressions showed they were also very nervous. When the game began everyone got into their positions. After just a few minutes Cockle Bay scored a goal, which made the score 1 - 0. The audience were excited for the players and supported them fully when they had the ball. Cockle Bay scored a few more goals until Macleans' coach called a 'time out' to give advice about game play. By half time the score was 3 - 0 to Cockle Bay the home supporters kept cheering Macleans to score a goal and there were times when they came close. At half time the Macleans Primary coach said, "Come on Macleans you can do it," and gave further advice to the team. The team changed positions for the second half and Cockle Bay scored 9 more goals. Macleans shooting improved and they scored 3 goals to the much cheering of the supporters. The final score was 13-3.
